here. While we know not everyone can take off and go hiking in the middle of the week, you can find a great place to take a stroll as close as your office complex. If you are more adventurous, you can try some more challenging options.
Imperial Center
One of MOBLZ’s partner locations, Imperial Center in Durham, NC, has a 2.6 mile
greenway loop that is appropriate for all hiking skill levels and can definitely be conquered during your lunch break.
ThExchange
Another MOBLZ partner location, ThExchange in Charlotte, NC, has some awesome outdoor areas along with walking and biking trails. Featuring outdoor art in many areas, this is an up-and- coming commercial location.
Mountains-to-Sea Trail
If you live in or visit North Carolina, you can hike all or part of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail. The trail passes through 37 counties and climbs both the highest mountain in North Carolina (Mt. Mitchell) and the highest sand dune (Jockey’s Ridge). It’s the longest marked footpath in North Carolina and passes through 10 state parks. You can check out a map

Regardless of the level of your hiking desire, you can head out and find some adventure near your location. Get outside and take a hike. The cool fall air will help to clear your mind and refresh your spirit.
