Burgers and fries. It’s a decidedly simple concept on the surface. But try an OnlyBurger and you are struck by the taste of burger perfection.
Since opening in Fall 2008, OnlyBurger has developed a devoted following of Triangle food lovers, first drawn to their mobile burger truck and now to their Shannon Road restaurant in Durham. The OnlyBurger truck is the poster child for the exploding Durham mobile food scene and continues to roam the streets, strategically positioned throughout the Triangle for hungry diners at all hours of the day and night. A loyal following on social networking sites like Twitter feeds diners with location, information, and burgers. Since it’s impossible to be at the right place at all times, OnlyBurger opened the restaurant in November of 2010 to keep up with increasing demand.

This is a delicious burger. I first tried Only burger at their food truck many years ago before they had a brick-and-mortar store. I use to drive 30 miles sometimes to where they would set up the food truck so that tells you how much I like their burger. I do not live close enough to eat here anymore but when I am visiting the triangle this is a place I go to. The fries and onion rings are also tasty. I love how they shred the lettuce for the burgers. This is a must-try if you are visiting or live in the area.

It all started with our truck back in 2008. We’re proud to have been one of the first food trucks on the street and appreciate the tremendous support we have received from Durham foodies and beyond. The Food Network contest in 2010 was a wild ride too.
